We're not new. We're just not from here.

"Every millennium four music gods from four dimensions
of the universe would each adopt a mortal.
And that's how a kick-ass four-piece band is born." - pip

Pip Abrigo

Vocals/Acoustic Guitar

"I feel like a tired old man from sometime in the past, who gets reincarnated in the future, just to be sent back again to the present. And that's how sometimes good music is written... by a tired old man." A former cast member of Tony Award®-winning musicals incuding Disney's Broadway "The Lion King" (NYC), "The King & I", and "Man of La Mancha", Pip majored and studied dance, theater, music, performance art, design, and programming. Loves data and entrepreneurship. Comes from an awesome family with his own loving wife, four kids, and a dog. "Songwriting is a must for me to live." Born in Manila, grew up in Los Angeles, started a family in New York City, and now loving San Diego.

Bruce Allen

Bass

A recognized and accomplished bassist, Bruce Paul Allen was born and raised in Los Angeles. By age five, he shunned children’s music in favor of more contemporary sounds. He regularly found himself forming drum beats in his mind and told his friends that someday, he’ll be in a band. His early record collection included The Doors; Blood, Sweat & Tears; Beatles; CCR; The Guess Who; and Sly and the Family Stone. His grandparents’ neighbors were Herb Alpert and Neil Young. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Allen established roots in Boston where he played in multiple local bands and recorded on several albums, including Torian and Winterboy. Music critics have characterized Allen’s playing as melodic, iconoclastic, and at times, idiosyncratic. Despite the allure of five- and six-string basses along with multiple effects, Allen prefers the organic sound and feel of original vintage four-string instruments plugged directly (i.e., without effects pedals).

Eric Mudge

Electric Guitar

Born and raised in the hard working blue collar suburbs of New Jersey that Bruce Springsteen sings about, Eric started playing guitar at age 11 after listening to too many of his parents AC/DC albums and thinking, ‘yeah I could do that too’. Eric strives to incorporate the clean rhythms of funk, the passionate melodies of the blues, and the raw energy and fun riffs of classic rock into his playing. Preferring a guitar effect collection that is often described as excessive, he likes experimenting with new sounds and finding new textures to add to the mix. Some of his current guitar heroes include Gary Clark Jr, Cory Wong, Stevie Ray Vaughn and (of course) the late great Eddie Van Halen. “People talk loud when they want act smart, right? So if we play loud, people might think we’re good.”
